Other than student employees, the majority of the help that the Prairie Nature Center receives is from its volunteers. Volunteer tasks can be as varied as the volunteers themselves, but typically volunteers do tasks such as: collect seeds in the summer and autumn, help out during special events, learn how to clean seeds after the seeds have been collected and dried, sow seeds in the green house and submit articles to the "Prairie Press News."

Another great way to get involved with the OSU-M PNC is donate funds which would aid our educational programs and restoration projects.
