Merit-Based Scholarships

Our tuition costs at Ohio State Marion are very reasonable, and as an Honors student, you may also qualify for merit-based scholarships. In fact, most incoming Honors students at Ohio State Marion receive some level of merit-based financial aid.

Each year we hold the Ohio State Marion Campus Dean's Scholarship Competition for University Scholars who complete their admission application by February 1. Students participate in this competition on our campus in early February of their senior year in high school. A total of two Dean's Scholarships are awarded. Recipients of the award are provided with full in-state tuition, book allowance, and a portable computer.

Scholarships are awarded to National Merit and National Achievement Finalists, and Valedictorians who designate Ohio State Marion as their first-choice institution by March 1

Other financial assistance is available to qualified students with and without financial need. Further details and the Application for Freshman Admission, Scholarship, and Financial Aid are available from the Admissions Office, The Ohio State University Marion Campus, Morrill Hall 166, 1465 Mt. Vernon Ave, Marion, OH 43302 or by calling
740-389-6786, extension 6337.
