Honors Activities and
and Opportunities Outside the Classroom
Outside
the classroom, youšll find an exciting variety of Honors activities to enable
you to become an active participant on campus and in the community. Some
of the activities include the following: Griffin
Society, which is a social organization that supports success through participation
in honors classes and activities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Book
Program, which gives students an opportunity to discuss a selected work. Book
Sale, which is a fundraiser that supports honors activities.
Class Honoraries, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Romophos, Bucket &
Dipper, Chimes, Mirrors, Mortar Board, and Sphinx, which are dedicated to scholarship,
leadership, and service. Griffin
Undergraduate Teaching Award, which gives Honors students the opportunity
to select a part time or special instructor for outstanding undergraduate teaching
for recognition. |
