Honors Activities and and Opportunities Outside the Classroom

Outside the classroom, you¹ll find an exciting variety of Honors activities to enable you to become an active participant on campus and in the community.

Some of the activities include the following:

Griffin Society, which is a social organization that supports success through participation in honors classes and activities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Book Program, which gives students an opportunity to discuss a selected work.

Book Sale, which is a fundraiser that supports honors activities.

Class Honoraries, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Romophos, Bucket & Dipper, Chimes, Mirrors, Mortar Board, and Sphinx, which are dedicated to scholarship, leadership, and service.

Griffin Undergraduate Teaching Award, which gives Honors students the opportunity to select a part time or special instructor for outstanding undergraduate teaching for recognition.
