2009 Classes

Program Highlights:

  • A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for those students who are eligible for the free or reduced lunch program. 
  • Class size is limited, so early enrollment is encouraged.
  • Class minimum is 10 students, maximum is 15-25, depending on the class.
  • If enrolled in two classes the same week, there will be a
    supervised break between sessions, and a box lunch will be available.  (However, children with special dietary needs must bring their own lunches.)  
  • Class fees are reduced for three or more registrations from one family.

If you are interested in exploring engineering processes in a fun and exciting environment, this class offers lessons about:  simple machines, structures and forces, levers, wheels and axles, gears and gear math, ratchets and drive trains, and motorized systems.>>>

Art in the Round
The mandala draws people to its center, creating well being and excitement.  Join Kids’ College in the exploration of the circle.  >>>

Digital Storytellers
Do you love to make up stories?  Do you love to work on computers?  Create your own adventure by writing a story with three different endings.   >>>

Alley-oop
Coach Sisler will take you through the ins and outs of the hardwood, teaching the basics of teamwork, discipline, and some round-ball fun >>>

CSI...Marion
Become a crime scene investigator and learn how to solve a crime!

Amazing Adventures
Take an "amazing race" around the world!  Explore different customs, food, and music of many fascinating countries. For those who travled last summer, the destinations will be completely different!   >>>
