Self-Directed Search |
 |
| | |
Based on John Holland's
Theory of Vocational Choice, the Self-Directed Search (SDS) examines activities
you enjoy, occupations that appeal to you, and your own estimates of abilities.
The SDS is self-administered and self-scored and can be completed in approximately
30 minutes. The
result of the inventory is a summary code that will help you identify various
majors and occupations that might suit your interests. It is important to keep
in mind that the SDS only examines one aspect of your work-related self and is,
therefore, only a beginning, not an end in itself. | |
