Will Ohio State Marion Help Me Succeed?
Our

Our
Academic Skills Center provides free tutoring in most subject areas, with special emphasis on the critical skills areas of math and English. Tutoring is available both one-to-one and in small groups. For more information contact: Lynda Behan, 725-6284
Student
Success is a program designed primarily for students coming to college directly out of high school and assists with the transition to college-level courses. We teach study skills, test and note-taking strategies, efficient textbook reading, stress and time management, and help refresh math and writing skills. The
Emerge Program is designed for nontraditional students and provides the support and attention to make college possible, both personally and academically. Early
Alert is a program designed to help students who may have trouble in a specific course. Students receive proactive assistance from academic advisers and other support staff. Through
Disability Services, we provide services to students with learning disabilities. We offer tutoring, notetaking, scribing, and reader services; private testing; tape recorded lectures; diagnostic testing; class scheduling priority; personal, academic, and career counseling; and support groups.
