Leadership Ohio Seeking Participants

Leadership Ohio, the statewide leadership program, is seeking individuals for its eight-month program focusing on topics crucial to leading Ohio through the 21st century. Applicants should have an interest in enhancing the stature of the state and the well-being of the people of Ohio. The program includes study, discussion, unique experiences, and interaction with state officials and experts leading to an exchange of ideas and potential solutions to local, regional and statewide programs.

Leadership Ohio participants include corporate and not-for-profit executives and officers, professionals, government officials, university administrators and business owners. Many participants have graduated from local leadership programs, although that is not a requirement.

F. Dominic Dottavio, dean and director of The Ohio State University at Marion, is a Leadership Ohio board member and a charter member of Leadership Ohio, having participated in the program in 1994. As a board member, Dottavio provides leadership in curriculum, selection of participants, identification of program locations and long-range planning.
