The third target audience for the I CAN
Regional Center of Excellence is parents of children in
grades K-16. With the large numbers of parents in the region
who have little or no knowledge of the college enrollment
process, limited financial literacy, and little or no planning
to get their children in college, this group is vital to
reach. Parents are crucial to the decision-making
and long-term retention of college students.
