There are many student clubs on campus to entertain a variety of student interests.  Listed below are 22 different student organizations which are active on the Marion campus.  You have the opportunity to become involved in one or several of these or you can start one of your own.  Become a part of university life at Ohio State Marion!

Arabic Club Created to explore the richness of the Arabic culture, the Arabic Club promotes understanding of how the Arabic Civilization lead to the western renaissance. It is open to anyone interested in the Arabic language, culture, literature, travel and participation in social/cultural activities that explore the Arabic heritage and customs. Cornfield Review Do you like to write short stories, personal essays, take photographs, write poems, or create art?  This journal for the creative arts is published once a year by the Ohio State University campuses of Marion, Mansfield, and Newark.  This group also coordinates a high school literary contest open to students from a seven county area.  For more information, contact Stephanie Howard: howard.608@osu.edu or Ben McCorkle at mccorkle.12@osu.edu.

Le Circle Français was developed to explore the diversity of French culture, and to promote understanding of how French culture affects our everyday lives. Rugby Anyone interested in this club for rugby enthusiasts should contact Dave Beckel at beckel.1@osu.edu.

SWAHILI CLUB welcomes all students interested in the African culture and the language of Swahili.  This organization promotes education through the experience of studying this interesting language.  Previous field trips have included the Queen of Sheba Restaurant, The Motherland Grill, and the Zanesville African Safari.  Students may also have the opportunity to travel to Africa.  For more information contact Steve Litzenberg: litzenberg.8@osu.edu or advisor Zak Nyongesa at nyongesa.1@osu.edu.
